AmiShield Urine II Reagent Panel Is Now Available
The AmiShield Urine II Reagent Panel is now officially available. This reagent panel is designed to detect microproteins in urine, helping veterinarians assess whether companion animals may have heart, liver, or kidney diseases.
Clinical studies have shown that microalbuminuria is widely recognized as an effective early indicator of systemic diseases, as it is associated with a variety of underlying health conditions. For example, it can serve as an early sign of kidney damage, including glomerular injury that may not be detected by other diagnostic methods. In addition, blood lipid levels have been observed in older cats with hyperthyroidism. Therefore, urinary microalbumin testing can be used as an effective screening tool for the early detection of subclinical diseases.
