Originally postponed due to the impact of Typhoon Gaemi, the "Common Avian Diseases and Clinical Care" seminar hosted by the Taoyuan Veterinary Clinical Study Group was successfully held on August 1. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the organizers for their thoughtful coordination and arrangements, which ensured the event was completed smoothly.
For this continuing education seminar, ProtectLife invited Professor Hung-Yi Wu from the Department of Veterinary Medicine at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology to serve as the keynote speaker. Professor Wu shared valuable clinical knowledge on the diagnosis and treatment of two common avian diseases: Parrot Bornavirus (PaBV) infection and avian diarrhea.
As part of the 2-credit veterinary continuing education program, Professor Wu delivered a comprehensive and engaging lecture, enriched with practical clinical experiences from his own veterinary practice. Throughout the session, participants actively exchanged ideas and many veterinarians took detailed notes on key clinical insights that they could apply in their future practice. Highlights from the event can be found in the photo gallery above.
Finally, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Professor Hung-Yi Wu for traveling north to deliver this informative lecture. We also sincerely appreciate all the veterinarians who attended the seminar after a busy day of clinical practice. Your enthusiasm for continuing education made this event a great success.
